I have had a play round with this, that you for your efforts this far. It seems to only place trades on gbpusd, places trades daily.
I'm going to have a further mess around see if I can get it to much.

@l-andorrà okay. whenever there is a win, the ea stops, and i can restart manually from the beginning. Thats what i'm trying to automate. Thus far on manual testing, i've had a goood result so i want to automate it so i can have further testings. Thank you very much

When you run one of the optimizing in MT5, it changes your files to the optimized settings, so when you run it next time its optimized with those settings.

It creates a problem for me especially when I change a file on my 2nd computer, then resave in FXDreema. If I have changed any paramaters, the EA will be changed again to match the previous changed paramater settings from the last time it was optimized. These files with the changes can be found in mt5 folder ->profiles ->tester. "Configuration settings"

@jstap I think I found the error... might help if the variable code matched the global variable 😄 (fixed it)
Now shouldn't this produce a value/number and not the text code? I'm thinking it still won't work because we are comparing "CSM-1-H1-USD" > 50 ?? Shouldn't there be a value to compare to >50?

@legitimate They don't need to manipulate EAs. They manipulate price. That is far more effective regardless what the EA is doing and where it is.

By the way, with regard to my first point/question, the pain for me was in changing/editing the two condition blocks for each pair.

However, I overcame this problem by using a code to get a value of a variable if it is equal to 1(for longs) or -1 (for shorts). Then the two condition blocks will always remain intact. The editing will be in the Main Custom MQL4 Code Block which will make life easier of course.

With regard to your answer to number 2, I want to know how to refer to a variable within the Symbol (). The latter will fetch the one on Chart. But if I type Symbol ("EURUSD"), it will give an error. There might be some difference between MT4 and MT5.

That's not possible in fxDreema. You will need custom code from a programmer to do that.

Unfortunately, many signals do not appear this way.

Trust an advice from a man who has tried countless times to use multi-timeframes in his EAs: they don't work.
It seems visually amusing, but in real time there is too much lag between the opening and the closing of the higher TF. Only time I saw it working is when you use the immediately upper Tf (ex. 5m on 1m chart).
Don't waste time anymore.
