Trailing stop

@l-andorrà

Hello, looking at your message and your image, I believe you are doing it the wrong way.
The correct one is as I show in my picture.

You mentioned (trigger Trailling Stop by 1 points when price reaches +10).
What I understood... (when the market price is 10 points above the entry price of the order that was opened, guarantee 1 point of profit).
Or else (when the market price is 10 points above the entry price of the order that was opened, place the stop loss 1 points behind where the trailing stop was triggered).The Trailing Stop works as follows:
Let's use an entry that happened at price 1000 as an example.Trailling Start = Distance where the price is in relation to the entry price, so if you set it to 10 points, the moment the price reaches 10 profit points (so using 1000 as the entry price, the trigger would happen at the 1010 price) it will perform 1 single move on the stop loss.
Trailling Stop = When the Trailling Start is triggered at the price (1010) the Stop Loss will be far from the (price where the Trailling Start was triggered 1010) and not from the entry price (1000).
So if your Entry was placed at price 1000, your Trailling start was triggered at price (1010) your Stop Loss will be placed at price (1009).Trailling Step = Every how many profit points your stop loss should move... If you set the number 1 in this field, you mean:
(Whenever the price reaches 1 profit point above a new Trailling Start 1011 price) guarantee 1 profit point and always walk by placing 1 point away from the new located price.But notice there is a problem with all this.
Brokers individually have their own rules to limit these steps, most of the time you will have to consult the currency and the broker's data to find out if it allows your Trailling to work exactly as you want, there are brokers for example that do not allow guaranteeing 1 point of profit, the vast majority of them do not allow it and those that allow it will always put it (Slippage in their closings) so when the price returns, most of the time you will close with a loss and you will not profit 1 point.
Pay attention to the broker's tricks when trying to use Scalper, almost all brokers have mechanisms so that the Scalper is too fast, they are losers. -
@ontradingx
hello thanks for the explanation of the trailing stop, that works for me and I already know how it works, my problem instead is making the second break even work precisely to avoid these problems with the brokers if I use the trailing stop. I would like to use just a combination of 2 or 3 breakevens -
@l-andorrà

no se que tengo que cambiar arriba -
-
@fede4631 Estos son los cambios:
-

@l-andorrà
