        reverse positions in limit order....

        what's the definition of a reverse position? Is that anything like reverse cowgirl?

            @rolexguy haha its all good. I still dont understand what that is though.

            Can you logically define what you mean? or put it in picture?

              @jsauter86 example:

              i open a market buy eurusd , the bot should open a sell limit at the same price

                this is assuming youre already using a bot to open the trade, and that its not manually?

                        @rolexguy whats the gauge for "limit".

                        It sounds like youre trying to do some sort of hedge, like if you are wrong then this will be waiting below (or above) to go the other direction?

                          @jsauter86 yes it's an hedging but i only need that the ea opens my position with an inverse limit order at the same price.

                          example: i open 1 lot eurusd at price 1.18227 , the bot should open a sell limit at price 1.18227 1 lot

                          I know that it's not a winning strategy but i need it

                            @rolexguy if its a sell limit at the same price, then logically no matter how you make it...once the spread is right you will be in 2 trades, 1 long and 1 short at the same time.

                                might as well just click the button twice, buy and sell in the same moment. its doing the same thing but without code.

                                      interesting strategy. i cant even imagine the purpose of intentionally losing half of the trades you place. haha

                                      Unless its a different market you're trying to place an order on...

                                          @rolexguy if you were trying to open the trade but on a different market....

                                          for instance, if you have a strategy that is buying EURUSD, you would want to short USDCHF. If that is something you are looking to do that limit isn't the way.

                                          goodluck though, hopefully someone else can help
