How to convert money to pips

I am creating a Hedging EA that places a hedge order whenever a manual trade is placed, it uses a pending order instead of a stoploss. My challenge is I want to be able to input money and based on the lots of the initial order placed it will determine the distance in pips for where to put the pending order. The idea is the distance between the order placed and the pending order should be "$n" so if I want to risk $100, as soon as I am -$100 the pending order should be active. Can someone help, should I calculate pip value and if yes how?

Hola, no comprendo muy bien tu pregunta, pero en lo poco que logre captar, creo que quieres establecer un limite de perdidas ya sea por money, por pips o por maximo de perdidas y que cuando se cumplan las condiciones enlugar de colocar una orden de cierre de operaciones quieres que se coloque una orden pendiente?....
Esta es la forma como yo lo he comprendido, si de casualidad es lo que necesitas, creo que este video te puede ayudar y en lugar de colocar la orden para cerrar todo, le colocas la orden pendiente....

Hello, I don't understand your question very well, but from what little I can understand, I think you want to establish a loss limit either by money, by pips or by maximum loss and that when the conditions are met instead of placing a closing operations do you want a pending order to be placed?....
