Hi. If i'm not mistaken, only from MT5 you can run a strategy tester with multiple pair. If that's what you mean.

Yes @roar .. I can understand that. Only if i could extract the mystery behind the custom indicators, easier to have an EA without an external link, and i think it can perform better.

@roar , have you tried Damiani Volatmeter? An indicator which also filter ranging like chart. Can give it a try if it can gives better results.

I need help to make level sum of profit.
Example:
When equity +$1000, close trade when total group profit reach $30.

Equity +1000, close +30
Equity +2000, close +50
Equity +3000, close +70
Equity +5000, close +100

...and so on. Tq.

This is just a too good to be true Strategy Tester - Control Points result.
I'm sure @roar & @AlphaOmega have a lot of experience like this.
This is just 4 months test, June 2020 to Sept 2020.
Question is, how can i have this good result in the real life?

@roar , but mine do have 50pips SL and doesn't close that fast.
Also close based on your formula, not candle close.

Question : Why, when we do backtest using Control Point, the result can be like from $10 to millions? But when we do it using Every Tick, all the strategies we can think of is always like Garbage?? :((

Ok @roar . From what i understand from your blocks with formula is to secure some % of profit from the current profit reached. And it start storing the value in variable named "maxprofit". You've made just like my request few years back and the logic looks good. Only that i add the front block that is "check profit (unrealized)" to make it start the counting after profit reached specified amount like $12.

As for my request now since you could help make a better one, the request is still the same, after profit reached eg. $12, the calculation of %profit start.

Different from %trailing, it will modify the SL many times and brokers doesn't like the high usage of resources. While your formula is just a calculation, and execute the action when meet the rules.

I'm using your formula here.
But it seems like something wrong when i add the "check profit (unrealized) block.
It doesn't catch the specified amount to start calculate the profit percentage.
Please have a look. what do i missed?

Now everything is good. I need to open from other project's mq4.
Buy my specific file seems like broken, cannot open, i mean with the same problem, an "undefined block" and "block not found" thing.
And i need to redo my project. Hope i can still remember the whole block.

Yeah, i know. Stop EA everytime it close all the trades. Withdraw the profit. Then start again.
And don't tend to make a collective profit until millions.
