Is there a way to get the EA to turn off once it hits a daily goal of pips? I have been trying out a few EA that I have made. They make profits and then go through a bad spell and give back that day's profits. I am wondering if I set a goal of 20 pips a day and then the EA would stop running, would it help lock in more profits on the day. Any help is much appreciated.

How's it going, everybody. I am trying to creat a little EA and it is turning out to be a bigger deal than I thought.
Strategy
5min chart on the first candle open. Place a sell order 15 pips above and a buy order 15 pips below. Tp and SL is 15 pips for both orders. If a trade is not triggered within the first 2 hours no trade.
For some reason, it keeps placing a buy and sell order at both locations. That means that I don't win and I don't lose. I just pay commissions.

I am trying to find out what it would look like in fxdreema. I want the trades to close when the MACD signal line crosses with the MACD main line. This for some reason keeps messing up my EA. Thanks for your time.

Hello everyone I am having some problems with an EA I having been working on for some time now. It keeps putting up a bunch of error codes like this.
2019.01.08 05:47:27.349 TestGenerator: unmatched data error (volume limit 340 at 2018.12.21 18:45 exceeded)
I don't know what is causing this. After it shoots off about 50 of these, then the back test just stops running.

I am having a problem with my EA.1) If the MACD signal is above the main line.2) the 9EMA crosses under the 26EMA. Enter sell trade. Exit trade when the MACD signal line crosses under the main line. Every time I try to make an exit order, mt4 starts messing up on the back test. It will only draw a few bars and then throws a bunch of errors and stops working. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.
