FFS, @gooseman Umm, you show your lack of understanding... the news can have a big impact, it is fractal, and on the daily chart often a minimal impact, but look at the same chart on the 5min and it can have a big impact, why do you think funded accounts have rules to news trading...

If you are using the same indicator with all the same settings in multiple blocks, make a "double" variable. Then, in "on Tick" before all other blocks set the value of that variable to be the indicator's value. For this use "Modify Variables" block with low block number, so it runs before the other blocks. And then in the blocks where the indicator is used, use the variable instead.

Is this okay? The variable is found in the condition 1 block. I am not sure where to connect the Modify Variables block.

honestly, ive put a lot less time into development and more into manual trading...so these are things I just come back and randomly ponder mostly these days @gooseman

okay ive figured it out. if you have multiple systems in one EA, you have to fill out all symbol parameters with the symbol its trading.

@gooseman Why don't you try OHLC on a first optimization try and then moving into ticks when optimizing. That would identify the most potential option without consuming so much 'fan requirements'.
