@fideld003 Here you can find the math behind each feature in the trailing stop block:

I hope this helps.

@jsauter86 Are you working with MT4? This is the first time I hear something like that.
@jsauter86 Do you want to open the same open price, SL and TP? I'm sure you know they can be stored into variables. The question is, how much time are those prices supposed to me stored?
@kestra If this is a new project, please create a new thread for it.
@jsauter86 The best I found some years ago (XTB) was 0.8 pips for EURUSD. Never below that.
@osryan That can be very dangerous. How can you be sure the price will finally cross up the MA?
@neonschwarz Before importing your own custom indicators here I strongly recommend you read these tutorials on that topic:

@mikehzzzz I'm afraid there is no memory to stor those parameters. You will have to try anr retry again until you get the same results.
@tuhand Because MT4 is not as efficient as MT5 at backtesting. That depends on your EA structure too. If it is very 'heavy', your MT4 will need more time.
@ivan-a Veo que usas un indicador personalizado. ¿Estás completamente seguro de que no repinta? Antes de continuar con tu proyecto debes estar totalmente seguro de ello.
@jsauter86 Really? I live in Europe and I haven't found any broker with a spread close to 0!
@fideld003 You cannot use a trailing stop if the TP is hit. That means the order is immediately closed at that TP price. Wouldn't you mean moving at a specific distance in profit but BEFORE hitting TP?
@mustapha Then you should specify 'Either buys or sells' in the 'No trade' block. However that will not guarantee your EA will open a buy, a sell, then buy again, then a sell and so on. That will depend on the conditions you specified.
@mikehzzzz I still would recommend to duplicate block 7. One for buys only and the other one for sells only. That way you will be sure both closings are always correct.
@mustapha You already asked this same question in your previous thread. Please don't duplicate theads. I answered there.
@mustapha But do you want many buys and many sells at the same time or one only buy/sell at a time?
@mikehzzzz Why is blocks 11 working on candle ID 1 whereas block 15 is on candle ID 0?
@lanrayy If those results are real and replicable, could you please let me invest in your strategy (not kidding)?
