i have a question about mt4, im trying to backtest an macd and when i initiate the test, and check the indicators on chart only what im using to perform the test are visible with inaccurate results.. once i stop the test a hidden sma apears.. the culprit foiling my attempts at a proper test?! any ideas, ive tried a few things with no success

Are questions regarding the MT4 platform acceptable to ask in this chat group?

.. what I'm trying to say is on a bullish trend I want to buy low on an initial candle and subsequently I want to sell high on the final candle of the trend..

so, on a bull candle I can enter at open price (bottom of candle not including tail) and on a bear candle candle I can enter at open price (top of candle not including wick)

.. is this what your meaning?

What block&setting will give me a buy/sell condition at bottom/top of candle?
