About the probability, what i understood from you yesterday is that if i am trying to trade MA crossover and get losses, i should take exactly the same setup on opposite direction, i.e. sell instead of buy and vice versa. I didn't check if it is true, but if i remember well your tutorial goes this way.

I need your advice. I am backtesting a strategy (on MT4) and i am confused. I optimized it manually through 9 months of 2017 and got some results. Then i backtested other months and got other results. The backtesting is at TF 5 minutes, and i usually get about 1-2 trades per month. How can i achieve systematic results?

I am working with 2 computers. At one computer i succeed to compile and download the EA.
On the second computer i have website filtering that blocks some kinds of sites. I didn't succeed to download, both mq4 and ex4. When i click the button, there is a message "compiling" but the file isn't downloaded.
I called the filtering company and they didn't see any blocking at this site.
Can anyone help?

Introduction: Pip value is usually 0.001 of the currency. For example, @EURUSD, 1 pip=0.0001 USD.
In JPY, 1 pip= 0.01 JPY.
My question:
I have been working with my EA that i created here about 2 months, and backtested it on MT4 strategy tester. I t worked well.
Last week i backtested again, @ NZDJPY. I took 20 pips Stop loss, 20 pips Take profit, and risk=1% of account.
My 20 pips of JPY became 20*0.0001=0.002 which is 2 points, and the trades were closed immidately after a change of 2 points.
I wanted to backtest however and changed SL and TP to 2000 in order to get 20 real pips. But the the volume of the trade became smaller in order to keep 1% of the account.
Anyone knows the reason of this problem? and the solution?

Sorry, i didn't write well.
I mean: " if there is no trade, the EA should check conditions once per bar and open trades"
And same question about time filter, i.e. "not friday". If i put it first, will the EA stop checking there from beginning of friday to end, or will it check every tick what is the day now.
I mean that "if there is no trade, the EA should check some conditions and open trades". However i want to know in which way it will take less work and less resources. If i put the "once per bar" first, it will work only once per bar? if i put " no trade" first, will it check every tick?

I created a simple EA in fxDreema. I backtested it in MT4 with no problems. But when i tried to test with Tickstory tick data, i got a critical error which stopped the backtesting.
