hey @roar ,i cannot see your variables so i cant copy that code into my project because i do not know how you defined the variables

im essencially trying to create something like this, an ea that spots out supply and demand ,basically the last candle before major moves

    • How to scan previous day for engulfing bars

      Good day @l-andorrà and @roar and @fxDreema

i would like to create a string of code for the next scenario

i want the EA to draw order blocks or draw rectangles around engulfing candles but i need it to look back at the previous day to find these candle. so every day at midnight, it should look back to the previous day that just passed and scan it for these engulfing bars.

i managed to create a code that identifies the engulfing bars and draws a rectangle and projects it as a ray to the right ,so im guessing half the job is done , but how now do we scan the previous day?

    • Automated Rectangles

      Good day @l-andorrà x @fxDreema ,

I would like your help to figure out how you would draw a rectangle and deleted them automatically when not needed?

      What I tried:

I created a bool option, when its true rectangles will appear when its false they will be deleted off the chart, it works the first on and off prompt but after it displayed then i delete it, if i try put it back again it does not show again. what configuration would you possibly use to create such?

here is my project example shared/JLHGoe9gb

good day @l-andorrà ,really appreciate your time i truly value it - hope your well.

okay I can see what you did in the above project ,but tell me will this work if i have more than one rectangle..

also what price does the code you created use ? coz there are two prices on a rectangle the lower and upper side, so how do you distinguish between these two prices?
