So we have once per indicator signal, which is good, but what if i want a limit, lets say ex.
A buy trade can just go in with the first 3 dots from sar under the candle, but not further with that signal from the indicator.
So if it was on 1 H chart it can just go in the first 3 hours, if the sar dots continues its to late, so a possible trade must wait until next signal.
I looked at once per min but it dont really work the way I did it

What can I say, works perfectly, it help that I had this example, MANY thanks.

Lets say I want a buy trade when a SAR dot has appared under a candle and when its over EMA 20. Both have to be fullfilled.
Now to the problem.
It now hits my stoploss, SAR is still active upwards and now candle is once again above 20 EMA, so the bot makes another trade, but I dont want that, I just want a trade ONCE per SAR indicator, so first when there is created a new SAR situation downward or once again upward. How can I do this?

@l-andorrà no all the same day, you open a trade today and want to close that trade at the opening of this day, closing target i the opening of today. as example.

@l-andorrà First I would like to say repect to you for how many you have helped here on this forum. lets say I want a condition to be met, lets say a EMA crossing, which has now happen, a trade is then open.
The target of that trade is, lets say then the open of the day, the first trade of that day, is my target for a close.

I added the Supertrend to the folder, run it again, did not work. Then I restarted MT5, then it worked. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply, well im no coder I just use the boxes, dont have that much of a clue whats else going on in the background. No trade - Once per bar - condition with supertrend - buy . Im just in the building face of this ea, the problem ist just the box with supertrend.

Hi, Im not sure whats wrong, but if I deactivate this block there is no trouble. The supertrend is uploaded wrong? or why dont I see any trades, just a line in MT5. I tried below and cross below-

Your bot just tell you, have a look now, maybe there is a trade for you?

Many say a ea will not last a year, but why do many say you have to backtest over years.
If there ANY who is profitable with there ea, how long do you backtest.
Also what I also wonder about why don’t we hear any big stories about successful bots out there. A lot of manual trading/strategies texts is the only content.

I would say backtest should maybe be 3 month to 6 month?

String, im not even sure what a string is, thats why use fxdrema, no coding - Constant not sure what you mean there.
