    • RE: Find orders

      @seemab you are thinking in terms of top and bottom buy trades, but the EA doesnt separate them as such. It makes the calculations every time some trade is closed, not when a pair of 2 trades is closed.

      So your goal is to track total profits in variable "B"?

      @ankitrader my guess is maybe you are testing too short period. You might also have changed the settings on mt4 (the "inputs"), try defaulting them.

      @seemab ok, what are you trying to do?
      You have 2 groups (buckets) of trades, and you want to know their combined profit? Is this the net profit or only the positive trades?

      What is the final purpose of all this? Maybe I'll know some different approach

      @ankitrader this question is in wrong forum section, this is not a tutorial.
      I backtested it and it does execute orders.

      @seemab These blocks will be run on every new tick, not just when there happens some trade action. Check the On Trade tab, there are launching blocks to activate only when a trade is closed, maybe that gets you forward.

      @rudy-1 This formula result is not a pip number, its raw price value. Set your SL mode to Custom (price fraction).

      @regalo you mean MA of the RSI? That needs some arrays or custom indicator, its not very simple. I don't know if its worth the hassle...

      @seemab you must reset the totalprofit variable before the EA calculates it again, otherwise it stacks values of each calculation

    • RE: Find orders

      @seemab said in Find orders:

      @roar As in your picture ( the terminal is having profit of 136 dollars ) and 1 trade is in -1 dollar, ( so the profit of the total trades is 136 dollars ) but the comment of chart is showing 137 dollars.
      I need only profit of trades which are in profit not all the trades.

      This doesnt make sense. 137 dollars is the profit-only trades, just as you wanted. I can check that you copied it right, if you send the shared link

      @alphaomega the extrapolated x marks are recorded in two variables, up_point and down_point. If you downloand the .mq5 file and import it again, you get all the variables automatically.

    • RE: WHY AMAZON EA MAKES SO LOSE?

      @ali-pahlawan with these sites, you have to ask yourself which option sounds more true:

      • somebody has created a highly performing EA that yields high results, over-performing even the most successful hedge funds in the world and then sells their life's biggest achievement online for couple hundred dollars
      • somebody just wants to collect money from desperate fools as much as they can, before their intents become obvious

      Which one of these sounds more believable, and also requires less knowledge, coding skills and moral from the seller?

    • RE: How do I interpret this graph?

      @traderea6

      • Both periods have approximately same degree of success for the ea, the results are ranging from negative to 30k+.
      • Majority of your results are positive, this means the EA made profit no matter what inputs were chosen. Meaning, either you have a really fantastic EA, or your testing period was a bit too short.

      Your next step could be to take the best forward result(s) and test the EA on even more out-of-sample data. For example, if your optimization was 2015, and forward 2016, now take the best results and test 2010-2020. I mean just single backtests, where you can see the equity graph.

    • RE: Moving Average Crossovers Aren't Working?

      @yoloyacht That is the problem with all candle ID 0 values. Candle 0 is the current candle that is still moving. Because its moving, the moving average can also cross multiple times during the candle, and it can also create "fake" crossings where the MA returns back from the cross..
