I figured out a wok around, just add up another variable and for each new candle +1 to the variable and then reset as needed.

I think what's needed is x value as a datetime, y value as a pixel coordinate. A mix between label-type object and normal object.

So one option is to use rectangle label (fixed pixel coordinates) and continually update the x value with ChartTimePriceToXY function (ignore the Price->Y conversion in that function).

@TipsyWisdom When backtesting on M1 bar data, the ticks generated to build that candle are interpolated. That means, there are ticks that make up the OHLC of the candle, but everything in between is made up of random ticks that travel somewhat up and down.

Therefore, let's assume a candle has a high and low wick. Has it reached the high first before the close, or the low? This question is the key and holds a critical answer, at which most scalpers will be given false hopes that their system will yield real results after the backtesting looks good.

The only real way to test your strategy properly is forward testing, on a demo account. This will be very accurate and will be as close to live trading results as you're likely to get

MT platforms adjust to DLS times (including on back test), the real issue here is when you use a broker that uses a different time zone to your personal time zone. At least that is what I have seen.

link updated, cleaned it up and deleted the last leg fib. removed a few of the useless constants.

@tipsywisdom So if I understand it correctly, that block will be plotting the line only if it is BEFORE 07:00 today and current price is below yesterday's close? You wil get many lines before that time, correct?
