after some troubleshooting I think there is a problem with shared links, especially for large projects, for the sender and receiver. It seems to break the website for both people simultaneously.

@jsauter86 Well, it depends on what you need later in the EA. I would suggest to use arrows instead of lines for visual effect only. You can store the name of the arrow into a variable and then search for it later when necessary.

dont worry about shorts...only longs.

I know it works because I can recreate another EA, but when I begin to modify things it goes corrupt as I save, changed, resave. It has nothing to do with my rules for entry.

When you run one of the optimizing in MT5, it changes your files to the optimized settings, so when you run it next time its optimized with those settings.

It creates a problem for me especially when I change a file on my 2nd computer, then resave in FXDreema. If I have changed any paramaters, the EA will be changed again to match the previous changed paramater settings from the last time it was optimized. These files with the changes can be found in mt5 folder ->profiles ->tester. "Configuration settings"

yo...ive got to say that im a little salty that nobody told me when you go from mt4 to mt5 you need to get rid of the no trade blocks (or after converting you should look to see if they need to be changed). I am still using them on some EA's...I thought some of my EA's and price action readings were trash because of it. Nope. Just needed to change the blocks to no position/order.
