I just read this again, and I realised that you wanted coding information to create this indicator. These forums are to create fxdreema EAs, you need to go onto the MQL5 forums to get the information you require.

You have a lot of constants/variables missing, correct this and I'll check if it's working:

That is just your imagination, take a picture that shows your settings, and do not bother me until you do it!

Last word from me! My picture is a standard MA drawn over yours. But prove it! You can't because you are wrong!

0 proof, use the settings in my picture above, by not doing so you are proving that you do not understand. My settings were liner weighted 20 shift -1, add this and take a picture showing the used settings.

I see a moving average, add to that a standard moving average with the settings above, then take a picture to prove your thoughts.

And that is how people get duped into believing in non-truths. Test and add more pictures to prove your point, you won't be able to. Custom in this case just means self-created. If you have to load different timeframes, it says that this indicator cannot loop back and get the relevant data.

No mate I don't think so, put those settings on yours and see the difference, the fact that it is called custom moving average, says that it is a moving average. So it uses the same maths, you just need to test until you find the necessary settings. It may be a little slower with my settings, but with a longer trend means they would match for the most part.

I don't know what you think you are going to get from this, but I nearly got it perfect, which means you could find the exact settings.

Run this on backtest, and run standard, try to get settings that mimic each other, you will probably find that the only difference is a distance gap. You can then draw a trace line with an adjusted offset and see if it draws over the top.

    • RE: How to set narrow Breakeven and Trailing Stop (1 pip) for EURUSD

It should, but there are different types of accounts, retail vs professional. Maybe this is the problem

    • RE: Why did the EA only loop 2 times then stop

Strip this back to 1 tree, buy 1, then use that to buy again. this way you can get things working before adding trades to it: image.png

These 2 can not differ (you only need pink anyway):
      image.png

Do this, then you can take blocks out and use a process of elimination to find the problem.

Switching off algo trading is very useful, but in this case, why not just stop EA trading until it's time to restart?
