Yes, this was possible. You could use a fully functional fxDreema on the demo without the 10 connection limit. Apart from the custom indicators and so forth, it was the whole program.

Candle Body Propertiesposted in Questions & Answers
I'm trying to place a "BUY" if the current price breaks above the "top" part of the previous Daily Candles' body. This can either be the yesterday's "Open" or "Close" depending if it's a bearish or bullish candle. Vice versa for a "SELL."
Is this correct, or is there a better way to do this? I couldn't find "upper body" and "lower body" in candle properties.

I'll add as well, the labouchere system with a 1,1,1,1 setting. Where "1" is the multiple of your base/starting lot size. With a max lot size depending on personal money management preferences.
This system, will allow you to make profit as long as your win percentage is 33% or better and you apply correct money management. i.e. if losses exceed an amount, then you shut it down and wait another day.
This solves a huge problem in Forex, where you need to win 2X more than you lose to make money. For EAs with good stop loss and good TP, the Labouchere system might offer a winning strategy.

Si maestro, me di cuenta que no todos hablamos el mismo espanol. En el salvador, es comun ese vocabulario. Pero se que en otros paises hispanos es mas fuerta la palabra.
Mis disculpas.

Interesting, I like the play on words. Even though pips aren't dust of gold, you're panning the web to find the gold in Forex. Maybe I read too much into things but that's why I like the picture and the name.

So you can use and pay for the full version without the loophole.
Think of it as a "patch."

RE: EA with object on the chartposted in Questions & Answers
@agbatoadesina @biztet @agbatoadesina
Every object has certain properties. You will need to FIND these properties. A shortcut is CTRL+B. Here, you can access:
name, price level, color, description, etc...
Thats how your EA will pick up the object. Usually by name.
For example Biztet, try to find the name of the red1 and red2.
red1 and red2 are drawn on a price. You will use CONDITION block as follows:
Left Parameter = Market properties. Here you can leave the ASK or change to BID or MID.
Then the condition is "Crosses above" and the right parameter is OBJECT ON CHART
See the link here.
https://fxdreema.com/shared/wsf1kK1Rb
Your job is to figure out what name red1 shares and you will do this by hovering over red1 or CTR+B and manually looking for it.

I think I know what you want to do. Unfortunately I don't have the experience to answer your question. You can try the method I posted earlier, if that doesn't work, then I won't be able to help.

RE: robot en varios gráficos ala vezposted in Questions & Answers
Saludos Cristian,
Grupo 1, Grupo 2...etc..

RE: Crossover EA with Stat Arbposted in Questions & Answers
I'm not as familiar with once click interfaces, fxDreema offers the same functionality but the approach would be different:
Close when TOTAL specified profit is achieved and Close all Trades and Terminate the EA.
Close when specified profit/pips is achieved on the pair and terminate or turn off the trading.

RE: Crossover EA with Stat Arbposted in Questions & Answers
I'm glad pan. If you need help with objects, let me know. They're usually straight forward but sometimes manually created objects can cause trouble.
Another idea, if you want to MANUALLY control your Buys/Sells. Objects can help with that. For example, if you write "Buys On" Then buys will work and vice versa. Only if you have access to the computer at all times or have remote control access.

I'm really good with Chart Objects. You will be using CTR+B a lot. This is where your Objects are. It tells you the Name, and other information.

Found your other question!
It looks like Lion has answered the first part of your question. The second part, regarding once per direction (buy/sell) needs answering.
Your rule though "wait for opposite to trigger a new trade" is vague. Unless your strategy is close to perfect, it could be that once you exit with profit on a buy, you won't get a trigger for a sell until hours later, effectively missing out on a buy opportunity.
Imagine your rule says BUY. Then it buys, later, you close the trade. Then your rule says BUY again. If you wish to implement that ONLY a sell is valid, you will miss this BUY.
If this is what you want, then simply use "On" and "Off" blocks.
Pretend your "Buy Now" is block #10. You connect the off block to this and put "10" in the settings. After this one, you put ON and lets say your "Sell Now" block is #20..so you will turn on block 20. You do the same for the "Sell Now" but its flipped. Off is block 20 and on is block 10.
This will compliment your Buy/Sell criteria.

RE: SLIDE ORDER functionposted in Questions & Answers
I believe your screen shot shows that only between X minutes will the program run.
So from minute 10 to minute 15.
The description says "period" so I'm assuming its talking about specific time periods within the hour. So if you have 1-5 minutes but your pending order activates at 1:30, then it won't slide until 2:01 until 2:05.
I could be wrong, but that's what I understood.

@nande-designs said in SLIDE ORDER function:
I would like to slide multiple pending orders for a certain amount of time. Then stop sliding them and let them wait for candle there.
How do I make the Slide function to work for a specific Time period. (For example ... Pending orders at 20 pips away from current price, should keep slidding or avoid being triggered, until 5 minutes later)
Nande,
You'll need to provide more detail. How many pending orders? Different conditions per pending order?
Anyways. To do this, you'll need to define what "let them wait for candle there" do you mean when a specific candle closes? For example, the beginning of a new trading session?
I've never you used slide blocks but based on their description, you would do the following.
First Block will be For Every Pending Order. Then Connect to Once Per Bar. ON THIS BLOCK YOU CAN DETERMINE YOUR TIME. You can choose "5" 1 minute bars. Effectively making the condition pass once every minute. Connect to Slide Block
This will cause the slide block to run once every minute for a total of 5 minutes based on our example.
This will cause "...slide multiple pending orders for a certain amount of time..." and "...stop sliding them and wait for [price to hit] candle there..."
Good luck.
EDIT, you will need to use the Counter Pass "n" times after Once per bar.
You will reset this counter on the "for every pending order" not true output. So, once your pending order is activated, after 5 minutes, then it will reset. Once you put another pending order, then it starts again.

what about fib retracement using 4 hr wicks or moving av ,, indicator rise then you get and oscillator like macd or triple ema indicator fall for divergence .
,,,,
Flip a coin program. Depending if its heads or tails, you buy or sell. Stop Loss is 15 pips, Take Profit it 100 pips. Trail is 15 pips.
Good luck.

RE: is it possible to implement this into my EAposted in Questions & Answers
@crazycnw said in is it possible to implement this into my EA:
You need to think more of what information you want from that sentiment tool. Do you only care if their view is "bearish" or "bullish"
If so, you don't need an EA. Sentiment trading is based on longer time frame trading and IG client sentiment updates once a day. To help your trading, simply put an alarm for the time that the report is out and trade with IG sentiment. If you want something more automated, Chrome has tools that scan your webpage. Mix this with an auto refresher and you once the webpage changes certain words, you will get notified. With this email, you might be able to do something that can be implemented into an EA.

Ok, so I've been a trader for three decades but never dove much into the programming side of things as I have always had the benefit of developers on staff. With FXDreema though I have found a mixed bag of results. The simplicity of FXDreema at first glance seems easy. But I have found countless bugs with bad business logic. I know programmers are typically not business minded and vice versa, business minded people are not typically good with programming logic.
BUT- on a dozen occasions I have set vanilla conditions for sells and closes which all work rather nicely. Only to have the opposite Buy side trades erratically and seemingly on a whim of its own?
Has anyone else experienced this ?
I like your picture! I doubt that's you but lets answer your question.
"Only to have the opposite Buy side traders erratically and seemingly [Missing Words?] on a whim of its own?" Do you mean that your opposite trades OPEN and CLOSE differently than your sells?
If so, No, I have not encountered this problem. It could be that your block logic is wrong or a filter is needed.
If you want to share your project, I might be able to fix it for you.Remember, the EA will only do what you want it to. Usually, it's us, not the computer.
Depending on your conditions, it could be that dynamic variables are affecting your trades. Usually these are based on Spreads.
Secondly, it could be that your conditions are being based on the current candle. If so, the current candle will repaint until its closed. So you might have two moving averages cross in and out multiple times in the hour candle until it closes higher or lower. To fix this, you need to use candle 1 at all times.

RE: Manual Trailing stop lossposted in Questions & Answers
Thank you for your question.
Let me be clear
Multiple MANUAL trades opened. You want custom Trailing Stop Loss for Each Trade you open on SAME PAIR.
If this is the case, then you don't need EA. MT4 already has trailing stop function per opened trade. You will simply have to right click on each trade and manually do it.
https://www.metatrader4.com/en/trading-platform/help/positions/trailing
With the MT4 Trailing Stop. Let's say the first trade is a 10 pip trailing stop. As soon as the order is in profit 10 pips, it will start trailing at a break even point (10 pips profit, 10 pips trailing). I believe if you put a manual stop loss, let's say 30 pips, then it will start to take off 10 pips from that starting point. I don't remember 100% though.
