The markets move in a way that those who move it are hedging their positions constantly. Same as with the bankers. Constantly in all sorts of positions hedging.

It works, if you have the capital and knowledge to understand how to do it well. Check out Nick Shawn on Youtube. I will admit hes very gimmicky in trying to get people to follow and sub, but its not about the money or cars, he has valuable knowledge and proves hes profitable.

I like where that strategy is going. Zigzag, draw lines. trade intersections...."Highline" "Lowline" NICE! Those are exactly the variable names I used for a similar project. hah

you are using a horizontal line but are telling the requesting block that the info is coming from a trend line.

When you highlight and right click, resize, it shrinks them...the size increases again when you hover over with your cursor.

The lot size will go from .01 to .02 after 8 trades if you use a multiplier of 1.1, 1.2 requires 4 trades. 1.3 requires 3 trades. i.e., the number is rounded down always until you break above the next lot size available.

No, thats not it...its the bill williams fractal. BW fractal typically requires 5 candles to count as a fractal. 2 on either side, but sometimes it will show an arrow on 2. If its on 3, its there and isn't going anywhere.

Either way though, thats not my issue.

For example. If I have it set to CID3, fractals will be there, if it is indeed a fractal candle. Undisputed fact. If I have it set to 4, fractals will be there, if it is indeed a fractal candle. Undisputed fact. If I have it set to 5, fractals will be there, if it is indeed a fractal candle. Undisputed fact.

The problem though is that I should be able to enter 3 in the candle ID section, and then also put another number in additional candles, and it should continue to search past C3 by that number. No matter what you put there, it doesn't detect fractals anymore...regardless of the candle ID you have as well.

It should act as a loop essentially. Just adding a candle number by the number you put in "additional candles"

I've noticed anytime I try to build an EA the strategy tester shows me that it only opens 1 buy and ignores any other opportunities until that trade is closed, and the same issue for sells. I see others have asked for help about this subject before in the past but I didn't see a clear answer to it. Is there a way to enter a buy and enter another buy later even though the first trade has closed, and the same for sells?

If you want to add trades, dont use a blue block unless you want to limit the # of trades .
If you want to accept as many trades as possible per the conditions, just keep it under a "once per bar" green block,.

yes, correct. I want to be alerted first and then I want the EA runs..
Basically, I have been doing this manually. I put the price alert. Whenever, I got the alert on, I turn on the EA.
Now I want to do it automatically.

Its not the idea of the alert then, its the action that triggers the alert that you need to set up first. There won't be an alert, essentially you are just now fully developing the EA instead of have a manual portion to it.
