also, mt4 is a lie. that 10% history being incorrect is enough to totally change everything depeding on the time frame you utilize.

When you run one of the optimizing in MT5, it changes your files to the optimized settings, so when you run it next time its optimized with those settings.

It creates a problem for me especially when I change a file on my 2nd computer, then resave in FXDreema. If I have changed any paramaters, the EA will be changed again to match the previous changed paramater settings from the last time it was optimized. These files with the changes can be found in mt5 folder ->profiles ->tester. "Configuration settings"

@bk7 i was saying we all have a $30 budget, thats why were all sitting here trying to figure it out, because most people here who are good can at least prove history price. Future is impossible, thats why were all still here. Trying to figure to how to do it still.

dont use the graph for answers, that to me looks like youre taking too many trades with a large draw down occuring. but that is a very nice gradual slope. good job.run the scenario so you can see exactly whats happening.

sometimes ill use a sl of 2.5 atr, depending on time frame im trading in. So technically i have no clue what it is.

but yes, id say if im manually entering trades im reaching for a specific target. so specific though that none of what im doing at that time will be in an EA. Who are you mentoring under?

@bk7 Sometimes, TP is known before you enter. I don't know it, my EA knows it. hahaha

You can never predict price. period. With a $30 budget, it sounds like you would be better of taking lots of time to figure out how to do it for yourself.

ohh ok. youre saying put all those things into variables, and then modify the variables once a day.

I wonder initially, what is the affect of, sometimes I take multiple trades in a day. I guess I could control those initial trades with a grouping.
