interesting, i tested that free EA and while it produced vastly different results from MT4, its still pretty good. Why does it trade so much more simply changing to output software?

disregard, its not accepting the mq files i converted, it requires the ex file unlike mt4

mt5 doesn't seem to import EAs the same way. what am i missing? I drag and drop the mq5 files with the example EA's and still can't see them on the new terminal software even after refresh of folder from inside program

@zaher-ahmad nice work! but it isn't about achieving 100% you can never be a perfect trader. if you have a ea that is better, please post the results. lets talk theory!

i would do it different, instead of on/off blocks I'd loop for trading looking for the condition in market properties

is this back testable? it crashes the ea

and it will only work on eurusd that efficient. that is very specific price action i am seeking.

are you building an EA based on how much price action is estimated left to move in the day?

@xyon126 Use an indicator drawing trendlines, it is highly suggested not to use an EA to do what an indicator does. Very hard on computer resources for starters.

The best way to explain a robot is very specifically....without pictures. If you can use words to specifically explain what you need, it can be done. But pointing to 2 candles and saying "These ones," doesn't tell us anything.

If everyone knew how to look at a chart in hindsight and pick the best thing and say, I want to do that...we'd all be able to do it but doing in the future what happened in the past is difficult to achieve.
