    • RE: 2 PC's, Same EA

      @miki its MT5, you can't do anything about the quality from my research. But as you can see above, settings and quality are the same. There shouldn't be that big of a difference when I'm loading the same EA.

    • 2 PC's, Same EA

      Hello!
      I have 2 computers which I am running side by side. I load the same EA on both to test scenario and the results are vastly different. I have checked to see that everything is similar as far as settings, it is perfectly the same. One PC is AMD, one is Intel...if that matters.

      For completeness sake, I'll list each thing I've verified as I do it and rerun another right now and paste both results from each computer.

      Symbol = EURUSD
      Time = H1
      Date; custom period = 20200101 to today
      Forward = no
      Delays = Zero latency, ideal execution
      Modelling: every tick based on real ticks
      Deposit = $500
      Optimization disabled
      Profit in pips for faster calculations
      No Visual mode

      zig zag is not reliable as it changes constantly over time historically. Find a different indicator in using automation with your trading.

      Sit and watch your trades and learn how to use it in real time if you're not willing to give it up

      I guess I could test it with theory and add rules lets say...if price action makes a certain move down during my open trades, go long again. If my money increases then I am truly accurate.

      But again, my strategy isnt about the most amount of money or # of trades. Its high probability times.

      @roar

      Why do I need to trade more than 28 times in a year? Maybe I could apply my strategy to lower time frames, but it is very specific price action during a specific part of the day.

      There we go, converted to MT5 for 99% quality. This is a slightly modified version of the EA that I posted for free with all of 2020 data.

    • RE: strategy result .. whats your comments !!?

      @saeed-2

      do you have a maximum draw down target or are you hoping that by sheer numbers of trades, hoping to be in the right direction will keep your account above 0?

    • RE: MT5 speed is slow

      yo...ive got to say that im a little salty that nobody told me when you go from mt4 to mt5 you need to get rid of the no trade blocks (or after converting you should look to see if they need to be changed). I am still using them on some EA's...I thought some of my EA's and price action readings were trash because of it. Nope. Just needed to change the blocks to no position/order.

      @luis-d
      Demo accounts with first historically proven EA's is the way to go before attaching an EA to software. Anyone who rushes to create an EA, gets good "results" and then fails to forward test, is a fool.
